Global Green specializes in formulating Operations and Maintenance (O&M) programs designed for the real estate sector. Work practices that help with worker protection at facilities with known or suspected Asbestos and Lead hazards that also meet lender requirements
An Operations and Maintenance (O&M) program is a formulated plan of training, cleaning, work practices, and surveillance to maintain Asbestos and Lead-Containing Building Materials within buildings in good condition. The goal is to minimize exposure of all occupants to asbestos fibers and lead dust.
O&M work practices give the basis for developing a detailed and specific guide that personnel use to conduct maintenance, perform repair and minor renovation work, and respond to minor asbestos and lead hazards in facilities. All work practices are in accordance with an established O&M program and applicable regulations.
Our safe work practices program is designed to heighten awareness by demonstrating to personnel how to properly respond to minor asbestos fiber release episodes and lead hazards in facilities. Doing so will help reduce hazards, contain materials, dust, or fiber release resulting from work performed on or near asbestos-containing materials and/or lead-based paint materials.
O&M safe work practices are intended to control a disturbance of asbestos and/or lead during repair, maintenance, or cleaning of these hazards and are not meant for dedicated asbestos and lead abatement. These activities are by nature small scale and short in duration.
